Cleantastic Wellington gives free cleaning to
award-winning Kaibosh Food Rescue
Cleantastic Wellington is proud to give ongoing support to Kaibosh Food Rescue, by providing cleaning services for free. Local charity Kaibosh Food Rescue won the Supreme Award at the TrustPower National Community Awards in March 2013, and was crowned the supreme winner in September 2012 in the Wellington Airport Regional Community Awards 2012.
Kaibosh links food retailers (and others with surplus food) with the agencies that support the needy in the Wellington region. Kaibosh is New Zealand’s first and only dedicated food rescue organisation. They collaborate with food retailers to rescue surplus food that’s good enough to eat (but not good enough to sell) from being discarded into landfills. This food is redistributed to individuals and families who are struggling to make ends meet.
Along with supplying commercial clients with excellent cleaning services, Cleantastic Wellington supports a number of local charities, such as the Wellington City Mission, the Life Education Trust and Kaibosh.

Cleantastic is proud to provide commercial cleaning services for the Canterbury region. Along with supplying our commercial clients with excellent cleaning services, we support a number of local charities and not-for-profits, including Dress for Success.
All around New Zealand we help charities to focus on what they do best by doing what we do best. Cleantastic has a community program in place whereby we provide free regular or one-off cleaning of their offices so that their staff or hard-earned fundraised dollars aren’t diverted from the end cause. Whilst we provide our services free to selected charities, the franchisees are actually paid for their time by Cleantastic NZ.
Cleantastic helped clean up Christchurch when we selected the Student Army as the recipient of our corporate donation. We assisted in providing them with wheelbarrows, shovels and gloves to aid in the post-quake cleanup so that they could get out there and help the broader community. They were also provided with lunch supplies over several weeks. We also offered free cleaning to Christchurch businesses affected by the quake to help them get back on their feet. Whilst this service was free to the businesses, the franchisees who delivered the cleaning services were paid by Cleantastic NZ
